As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, let’s mark our calendars for a celebration of global connection and learning! International Education Week (IEW) is just around the corner, November 13-17, 2023. This event, a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, shines a spotlight on the enriching benefits of international education and cultural exchange around the globe.
Next week is all about highlighting those magical programs that help U.S. students flourish in our interconnected world. The same programs warmly welcome educators from around the globe to share their culture and to experience U.S. culture through living and working here.
Here at Participate Learning, we’re not just observers of this initiative; we are active contributors. Along with our partners, we’re working towards a shared mission of creating global, cultural, and language connections for all. These connections do more than just enhance educational experiences; they empower our Ambassador Teachers and their students to make a positive difference in our world.
It’s through the dedication and passion of our partner schools and teachers that this vision comes to life, and it’s something worth celebrating—not just during IEW, but every single day.
This year, we rally around the theme “International Education Is the Future,” with each day of the week casting a spotlight on a part of this central idea:
