Our Story: A Force for Good That Connects Teachers and Students

At Participate Learning, we believe in the importance of balancing purpose and impact. For years, we have been committed to creating meaningful connections between teachers, students, and communities through programs that foster understanding and empathy. By prioritizing the well-being of the communities we serve, we aim to make a positive difference in the world.

We view our work as an opportunity to open the world to new possibilities by cultivating empathy, open-mindedness, and meaningful connections. Read on to learn more about how we achieve this through cultural exchange, language immersion, and community collaboration.

Facilitating Cultural Exchange Worldwide

Cultural exchange is a cornerstone of our mission to create connections that inspire learning and understanding. When children become more knowledgeable about the cultures, languages, and people around the globe, they are better prepared to thrive in an interconnected world.

Our Ambassador Teachers are among the most highly qualified and experienced educators worldwide. Along with the engaging classroom environments they create, they act as cultural ambassadors for their students, schools, and communities.

When these teachers arrive in the U.S., they hone their professional skills, participate in cross-cultural activities, and integrate into their local communities. Through this exchange, they share their cultures while learning about American culture, fostering mutual understanding. When they return to their home countries, they bring back new knowledge and experiences, further strengthening global connections and making the world feel a bit smaller.

In today’s world, real-time connectivity means students must be prepared to interact with people from all walks of life. The interpersonal skills they develop through exposure to international teachers—such as curiosity, empathy, and confidence—prepare them to navigate various environments with success.

Immersing Students in Language and Culture

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the demand for multilingual and culturally aware individuals continues to grow. Language immersion from a young age enriches students’ minds, prepares them for the future, and equips them with the skills needed to connect across cultural boundaries.

Our Dual Language Programs partner with schools and districts to provide students with authentic and immersive language-learning experiences. These programs focus on teaching students to speak, listen, read, and write in both English and Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. In addition, they enhance cognitive skills that support academic achievement and prepare students to lead in global settings.

Connecting Communities Through Global Learning

At Participate Learning, our mission is to unite the world through global learning. By equipping students with learning experiences that celebrate all cultures and foster an appreciation for differences, we empower the next generation to make meaningful contributions in an interconnected world. To learn more about our Dual Language Programs or Ambassador Teachers, or to connect with us directly, you can contact us here.
