Participate Learning Leader Named Top 100 Impact CEO

David Young, of Triangle-based (NC) Participate Learning, has been named a top 100 Impact CEO.

Young is listed as #35 on the MO 100 Top Impact CEO Rankings, which “celebrates leaders who are leveraging the engine of capitalism to create shared prosperity,” according to Big Path Capital, the firm that organizes the annual award.

Young has led Participate Learning since 1990, building one of the top organizations providing global education opportunities to K-12 public schools. “This award reflects all the great work by the team at Participate Learning—staff that commits to using their careers as forces for good. We share this honor with the 450 schools that partner with us to implement global learning programs that positively impact hundreds of thousands of students, teachers, and community members each year,” Young said.

The MO 100 list includes leaders of firms in a wide range of industries, including climate solutions, clean energy, sustainable and healthy food, and better finance practices. Companies represented include 3Degrees, Grove Collaborative, Luke’s Lobster, Numi, Pacha Soap Co., and Okabashi. The complete list can be found here.
